For decades, roof trusses and I-joists had to be manually assembled in an expensive and labor-intensive process. DTM changed all that. Through a series of innovations, our factory has fully automated the joist process and manufactures some of the finest trusses and joists in North America. In fact, our patented “Open Joist 2000” design is among the most rigid in the industry and one of the lightest. It also enables ventilation and wiring installation in much less time than conventional joists.
